Registration, renewal, and a catastrophic designation.
Georgia’s State Board of Workers’ Compensation governs rehabilitation suppliers through Board Rules 200.1 and 200.2. You register as a rehabilitation supplier, and the registration renews annually. Catastrophic work is a separate, board-certified designation carrying its own rate.
Rule 200.2 is also why Georgia matters to nurse case managers: it is one of the three states where non-catastrophic medical case management is a registered activity rather than an informal one.
Your rate follows the designation, not the task.
On the 2025 SBWC rehabilitation fee schedule, a registered supplier bills $106 an hour and a catastrophic supplier $124 — in six-minute increments, direct to the carrier, TPA or self-insured employer, with payment expected in 30 days. Current as of July 2026 — verify with the Georgia SBWC.
Because the rate follows the case designation rather than the activity, the error that gets a whole invoice reviewed is a catastrophic rate on a non-catastrophic file. And because the roster is public, a lapsed annual renewal is visible to the adjusters who would otherwise assign you work.
