Privacy Policy

The short version: your clients' claim data lives on your computer and never reaches us. Here is precisely what we do hold, and how we treat it.

1. What we collect

Account data: your email address, subscription tier and status, invoices and payment status (held by Stripe, our payment processor — card numbers never touch our servers). Device records: a name, a salted hardware fingerprint, and last-seen times for each computer you activate. License events: activations, refreshes, and sign-ins, kept as an audit log. Lead-form data: if you request a trial or review, the contact details and practice information you chose to submit.

2. What we never collect

Your clients' and claimants' information — names, claim numbers, notes, documents, billing amounts — is stored in a local database on your computer and is never transmitted to us. This is an architectural property of the software, not a policy promise: our servers have no endpoint that accepts claim data.

3. How we use what we hold

To operate your subscription and license, to contact you the way you asked us to, and to support you. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who else touches it

Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (Hetzner), and our email provider — each only for its function. No analytics beacons follow you around the web from this site.

5. Retention and deletion

Account and license records are kept while your account exists and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. Email admin@onservice.us to request deletion of your account or lead data — your local software data is yours and is unaffected by anything we do.
